Saumil joshi, persuing my bachlors in Engineering(IT) and the owner of city portal Our Vadodara. He is a web designer and expert in social media marketing.
He is working on WordPress since a couple of years and after that he has not touched any of the other platform to design the websites as he didnt find better option other than wordpress.
Here’s a brief questionare we had with him :
What are your thoughts about WordPress community in India?
WordPress Community is not that much popular among the IT people or I can say web designers. It needs more marketing among Indian colleges and coverage by the media. If more number of students get involved in this community then I guess they can learn more from the wordpress experts then their college teachers.
Brief about the topic on which you’re going to speak at WordCamp Baroda, 2013
I will be explaining about the analysis of themes which you buy from different websites. It includes the analysis of code and the compatibility with open source plugins. I will also be explaining about the customization of plugins. My session with be fully practical base as people can understand things quickly.
Why have you decided to be a part of WordCamp Baroda 2013?
No one is MASTER in anything , it is always sharing and learning concept which makes a person better in the particular field. From wordpress community I want to unturn the stones about which I am not aware.Indians always take android as the open source, so via this community I want to spread word about the beauty of wordpress which can create attractive and interactive websites.
What are you most looking forward to during WordCamp Baroda 2013?
When I leave deep auditorium after the wordcamp is finished ,I should have learn something new about wordpress. I hope to meet sharp minds of WordPress during this camp.
Who in WordPress community inspires you the most? Why?
Beginners: They have creative ideas and suggestions but due to lack of knowledge they are not able to justify it. But they leave INNOVATIVE footprints behind them.

Don’t be stagnant
